Big Brothers Big Sisters of Leeds and Grenville are excited to announce that we will be hosting Canada Day in North Grenville 2018. Our agency provides life changing mentor-ship to children in our local schools and in our community. This spring alone in North Grenville we have provided skills mentor-ship to 81 children in 2 of our schools teaching both boys and girls to learn to sew. But that is not all we do. We provide programming to students in grades 5-8 teaching them the importance of healthy eating, physical activity and boosting their self esteem. We continue to provide one on one support through our big and little programming as well as group activities monthly allowing children to participate in outings they may not have been able to go to otherwise. BBBS is a not for profit organisation that relies on fundraising like this one to ensure that these important mentoring relationships continue.
