RABIES CLINIC for cats and dogs
Wednesday, Sept. 8th and Wednesday, Sept. 15th at the Public Works Garage, Concession Rd. (east of Prescott St.), Kemptville, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Fee is $20.00/animal (cash only). Animals MUST be leashed or in cages.
MUNICIPAL ELECTION - PERSONNEL REQUIRED
we are accepting applications for Election Day personnel. With internet/telephone voting this year, there will be one poll location on Election Day at the Municipal Centre to vote using paper ballots. All positions require excellent analytical and personal skills as well as strong computer skills for DRO positions. GARAGE SALES
Garage Sales in North Grenville are regulated by By-Law 10-03. No licence or fee is required, but there are regulations which you must follow. Before having a garage sale, please obtain a copy of this by-law from the Administration Office or the Municipal web site.
2010 FINAL REALTY TAX BILLS
All 2010 Final Realty Tax Bills for residential properties have now been mailed. If you have not received your bill, please contact the Municipal Office. The Installment Due Dates are June 30th and September 30th, 2010. Tax bills for commercial, industrial and multi-residential properties will be sent out at a later date.
2010 BURN PERMITS
Residents are reminded that in accordance with By-Law 33-01, a Burn Permit is required to conduct open burning on property located outside of the urban area. Burn Permits for 2010 are available at the Municipal Office or at the Fire Hall at 259 County Rd. 44 for a fee of $15.00. Please contact the Fire Hall at 258-2438 for conditions prior to burning.
