Green Gables Vines was founded in 2013, when our family took over the original Oxford Station vineyard with a simple goal: to grow good cold-hardy grapes and make honest wine that reflects the place it comes from. The first seasons were spent rehabilitating the land — pruning, replanting, and learning what each row of vines wanted to be.
Today the vineyard runs on a small team and a lot of help from friends. We farm organically, harvest by hand, and bottle small batches of white, red, rosé, and fruit-infused wines made from our own grapes. The winery is open on weekends through the warmer months — pull up the driveway, sit on the porch, and try what we’ve been working on.
You can also order from our online store. All orders must be paid for before pickup or delivery. Pickup at the winery is by appointment only outside regular hours. Enjoy free delivery for orders of six bottles or more in the Ottawa region.
