KYC Spring Sale 2019

Help our youth send children's books over seas to children in need by checking out our annual Spring Sale - formally known as the KYC Accessory Sale.
All funds raised at the sale will go towards sending children's books over seas to children in need. The youth at KYC have already taped up boxes of books and are now excited to send them on their way, however; we can't do it without your help!
Dates: Friday April 26th 2-6pm
Saturday April 27th 9am-2pm

Small Business Boss Summit

Beth Donovan Hospice is pleased to offer to the community an upcoming spousal/partner loss group being held at Beth Donovan Hospice. There is no financial cost to attend. Please see the attached poster for additional information.

2nd Annual North Grenville Breakfast Banquet 2019

Tickets on sale now! The Municipality of North Grenville and the Chamber of Commerce are excited to announce that they have partnered to host the second annual North Grenville Breakfast Banquet. The Banquet will be held on April 26, 2019 from 7:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the North Grenville Municipal Centre. Please join them to help celebrate the excellence, success and innovation of the region’s business and community leaders. Guests will enjoy a local foods breakfast while Mayor Nancy Peckford provides an update on local current and future initiatives in North Grenville. The event will also feature awards in the following categories:

Rural Summit 2019

KEMPTVILLE - The North Grenville Rural Summit is an opportunity to learn, share and network with local farmers, business owners and related industry professionals.
You will walk away with fresh, practical ideas and tools you can use right away to build a business that can support you and your family. Topics will include how to start a home-based agri business, business planning, funding and other support, starting a livestock operation, innovations in small-scale farming, increasing garden productivity, multiple income streams and sharing resources by starting a co-op.

Old Town Kemptville BIA Easter Bunny Hop

Saturday, April 13, 2019 - 6:30am to 9:30am

On Saturday morning April 13th between 10:30am and 1:30pm children of all ages are invited to come to Downtown Kemptville to enjoy Easter treats, activities and face painting provided by our generous local businesses. There will also be a special Easter basket draw for adults, just drop by To Be Continued Consignment Shop, EXIT Realty By Design and the North Grenville Public Library for ballots on the day of the event. A map will be provided at these three locations showing people where to find the participating businesses. Watch for other special offers and promotions too!

Ben Hutton Shootout for Alzheimer’s

I am happy to be returning home to host the Ben Hutton Shootout for Alzheimer’s this summer.  Founded in 2017, this event’s goal is to support funding to the Alzheimer’s Society of Leeds, Grenville & Lanark to enable them to continue to support, improve and enhance the quality of life for those affected by the disease, including the care givers.  The Alzheimer’s Society continues to support efforts to search for a cause and a cure.   Since our event’s inception we have proudly raised over $41,000.
