Jen & Sean Barrer purchased Sew Kool Embroidery in 2023 from Cindy & Tom Keyes. We felt it was a perfect addition because it paired well with who we are and where our interests lay.
Sean worked in IT for 25 years doing many things from computer repairs and websites to enterprise networking solutions before making the switch to a more hands on job working for Classic Graphics as a sign maker/installer.

North Grenville Community Theatre is hosting the Eastern Ontario Drama League "One Act Festival".

North Grenville Community Theatre is hosting the Eastern Ontario Drama League "One Act Festival". This festival entails eight theatre groups, each performing a different play that is no longer than 60 minutes. Domino Theatre in Kingston are performing two one act plays. It is adjudicated by a professional adjudicator. At the end of each three sessions of three plays, the adjudicator gives a public adjudication and then to the three groups who just performed, a detailed adjudication. All events and adjudications are open to the public as well the Award Brunch on Sunday Nov. 5th.

North Grenville, ON –The North Grenville Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the one-year anniversary celebrations at Sportclips- Kemptville
The event will include weeklong celebration planned for July 3-8.
Mayor Nancy Peckford will be on hand Friday July 7 at 11 am for a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Beth Donovan Hospice raises $30,000 in honour of 30th anniversary

The Beth Donovan Hospice (BDH) has reached its goal. The organization raised $30,000 in honour of its 30th anniversary in 2022.
Sue Walker, BDH executive director, noted that the fundraising initiative ran from April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023.
“We made it before the deadline, we exceeded the goal,” she stated.
