Compassionate North Grenville is a grassroots initiative dedicated to fostering care, connection, and community. Our mission is to help build a compassionate and inclusive community that embraces the full journey of life, illness, death, caregiving, and bereavement. We believe these are universal human experiences that deserve to be talked about openly. By sharing stories and creating opportunities for conversation, we help normalize and reduce the stigma surrounding these important parts of life.
Working in partnership with Beth Donovan Hospice, the Municipality of North Grenville, and the North Grenville Public Library, we host community events that encourage meaningful conversations about caring for one another, asking for and accepting help, advance care planning, compassionate workplaces, and the power of storytelling. These conversations create ripple effects that inspire greater kindness, connection, and compassion throughout our community.
