Our Mission
To deliver accessible, youth-driven programs and supports that foster wellbeing, build life skills, and strengthen community connections.
Hours of Operation:
After-school drop-in program Monday to Friday 2pm to 6pm during school months and during the summer months from Monday to Friday 12pm to 5pm. Jr. Youth Night for youth aged 9 to 11 every 2nd Monday of the month.
Resources
The KYC is loaded to the rafters with resources to help youth. From Prom apparel to food resources, outreach services for mental health (from our community partners’ wayfinding navigators), homework help, career readiness, and volunteer hours youth are well supported.
Programs
We facilitate many different programs for youth to enjoy. Some programs include; sports, video games, gardening, cooking and baking, arts and crafts, Kemptville Youth Podcast, Dungeons N’ Dragons, Magic the Gathering, swimming (available only during summer), fishing, and music lessons.
KYC attends various community events with youth including the annual North Grenville Pride Parade. The Centre organizes an annual youth bus trip to Calypso Waterpark each summer. Volunteer
We are always looking to volunteers to help facilitate our programs and mentor our youth.
