Kemptville ReStore
The Kemptville ReStore, operated by Habitat for Humanity Thousand Islands, is a community-driven retail outlet that sells donated furniture, appliances, building materials, and home goods to support the construction of safe, affordable housing in our region.
More than just a store, the ReStore offers high-quality and often high-end designer items at significantly reduced prices, making home improvement and furnishing more accessible to families. All clothing, bedding, and linens sold are brand new, ensuring dignity and quality for every customer. The store is also fortunate to receive new products from generous corporate donors, including premium fixtures such as sinks, taps, and bathroom pieces.
The ReStore plays an important environmental role by diverting thousands of pounds of usable materials from landfills each year. Community members can support this mission by donating items, with convenient drop-off available seven days a week, as well as pickup services offered throughout Leeds and Grenville communities. Delivery services are also available for purchases.
Beyond retail, the ReStore is deeply committed to supporting the community. The ReStore also supports other local organizations wherever possible and, from time to time, explores opportunities to support families starting over, whenever resources allow, helping individuals and families rebuild their lives after hardship.
The Kemptville ReStore is also a welcoming space within the community, featuring a small library area where visitors can relax, read, and connect, reinforcing its role, not just as a retail store, but as a place of comfort and support.
Every donation and purchase made at the ReStore directly contributes to building homes, strengthening families, and creating lasting change across the Thousand Islands region.
Proceeds support Habitats affordable homeownership program, helping local families build strength, stability and impendence.
